What's the Big News?
I'm making great progress configuring the server at work and now we are ordering another....
The slogan for the month is "the heart is a muscle".
Today I "sprinted" (still a very slow run) the last 75 yards of my quarter mile run during my one mile walk. I've lost half a size in clothing and gained 5 pounds.
What's new or updated on Alwanza?
I had falling hearts instead of snowflakes for a few days, but I've restored the snowflakes now, trying to encourage the weather here to do likewise.... I'd like a snow day.
What hi-tech projects am I working on?
I'm working on getting mail to seattlelinuxchix.org to go to my Linux server. The hangup is that I need to separate out the domain at Speakeasy from the accounts that Betsy has (long story). She and I have been working on that.
In preparation for these changes, I reassigned my LAN from DHCP to Static internal addresses. I'm going to write up the documentation and put it on my "how to Linux" pages because there were so MANY steps involved.
What else is going on in my life?
I actually sent out 5 of those valentines I wanted to send. Two to women, three to men (one of those to Tom, of course). I had an attack of "shy", not entirely unexpected. They seem to have been received in the spirit in which they were sent, which is good.
Any nature observances of interest?
The animals and plants are still confused. We've had a cold snap but the cherry blossoms were already starting to bloom and so they are in a half-blooming state.
