What's the Big News?
My Java class ended and I got the exact same grade this time as I did when I took the course a year ago.  I don't think the grades should have been the same.  Maybe my first teacher over scored me cause he knew how much he screwed up?

Tom and I planted our first fruit tree in our back yard this weekend, a semi-dwarf Italian prune.  It was supposed to be a semi-dwarf Akane apple, but all the nurseries we checked were sold out.  The Italian prune was second on our list though.  We'll have to get the apple next spring.  Third on our list is a cherry.  If we plant a fourth fruit tree it will probably be a pear.

Tom's been sick with some sort of strange combo upper respiratory, sinus infection that affected his eye, ear, scalp, face....  I've been working on him for weeks.  We think it finally broke last night.

Nothing.  I've been so busy with school and then trying to catch up with stuff I had put off while I was in school, that I haven't gotten back into my stride yet.

What hi-tech projects am I working on?
After 7 grueling months, work has finally eased up some, enough so that I could do the updates to my records and Intranet that had fallen behind while I was provisioning the offices as fast as I could.

I STILL haven't done anything about my ISP and Majordomo major headaches with SeattleLinuxChix.  I need to call tech support but I need to have some time when I can do it.  That hasn't happened yet.

What else is going on in my life?
I saw a friend last week who managed to break my heart, set me crying, and had me regressing back to age 29, 25, 18, and 10 all at once.  He's going through a crisis himself.  I'm not sure if he realizes he is in the throes of a major grief process from deciding to abandon his original career path and pursue a new one.  As for me, I'm also abandoning some fantasies I didn't even want to admit I had.  I identify with this person a lot, so hearing his dilemma made me review my own history deeply one more time.  I'm debating about whether or not I should put something permanent on this site about it.  It's about education, business, careers, and reconciling fantasies with the real world.

I'm sure getting to the other side of this will be good for me.

Any nature observances of interest?
The garden is as fully in bloom as it gets.  There will be different things blooming later but it is lush with bloom now.  The birds are eating seed almost faster than I can fill the feeders.  We had several chickadee hatchlings in our own redcedar tree out front.
