Study Mix Herb Tea
Ingredients by weight:
- 3 parts gotu kola (Hydrocotyle asiatica minor)
- 2 parts eyebright (Euphrasia officialis)
- 1 to 2 parts yerba maté (if stimulants are desired)
- 1 part marshmallow root (as a demulcent)
- 1 part mint (for flavor)
Ingredients by volume (less accurate):
- 2 parts gotu kola (Hydrocotyle asiatica minor)

Instructions:
Mix up a batch of herbs and put them in a jar so you will have them when you need them.
Use 1.5 to 3 teaspoons dry tea to each 12 oz cup of water (3.5 deciliters).
Steep for 15 to 20 minutes.
Drink half an hour before beginning to study, and at any other time.
Also drink before taking test.
The active ingredient in yerba maté is mateine which is related to caffeine in its chemical composition.

Other Herbs:
Many people find that ginko bilboa aids their memory. I haven't included ginko in this
formula because it never worked for me. Feel free to experiment with changing the formula to what works best for you.
I remember hearing that "rosemary is for rememberance", although it has not worked for me; a friend of mine told me she would take a fresh sprig to lecture class and when she found her concentration waning, she would break off a needle, pinch it with her fingernails, and inhale the scent.
