On the bus, the man who stinks like yesterday's cigarettes, alcohol sweat
The man in too much cologne, the woman with bad perfume
The person who coughs
The person who sneezes
The rough stops and starts, especially the starts
Fumes from the fuel
The exhaust from the street
The short stops and potholes
The babbler, the groper
The child behind me who kicks my seat
Nausea if I try to read
Nausea if the ride is long
Nausea with the stops and starts, especially the starts
Nose running, eyes itchy, tearing, migraine
Sick when I get to work
Sick when I return home
Company parking for the CEOs
Company parking for upper management
Affordable parking for those who get two dollars for every one of mine
For we who toil, the bus
Be grateful!!
