Trip to Northeast USA October 2005       For example, since October is the celebratory season in Salem, there were "bouquets" (ummm, cornstalks) tied to almost every signpost, lamppost, telephone pole, tree, and other vertical structures.... That is, except for the lamp posts that were adorned with other decorations. The plaza also had its charms. The entrance to the newly opened mall had nice brick archways.
